🌊 Water Slide & Dry Slide Guide

Follow every step in order. No shortcuts.

🚚 DELIVERY & SETUP

🟨 STEP 1: POSITION & UNROLL

  • Ask the Customer: "Where do you want it placed?" and "Which way do you want the slide facing?"
  • Aim the Lip: All units are rolled back-to-front. Face the lip (flap) of the roll exactly toward where they want the SLIDE facing.
  • Unroll it flat.
  • Close Zippers & Vents: Zip all side zippers and close Velcro flaps. You MUST also look for vents at the bottom toward the slide or the rear—they must be closed or the slide will not inflate.

🔌 STEP 2: POWER & MOTOR

  • Find the Outlet: Ask the customer where the plug is. It MUST be within 50 feet (only use 1 extension cord).
  • Tie the Cord: Connect the blower and extension cord together in a tight bow/knot so they don't pull apart.
  • Strap the Motor: Use a 2HP motor. Slide the sleeve completely over the edge of the blower and strap it dead tight. Make sure the sleeve is NOT twisted and blocking the air.
  • Flip the Switch: Turn on the blower. Manually lift the columns to help it prop up if needed.
  • 🚨 TROUBLESHOOTING (If it won't inflate):
    1. Double check all zippers, flaps, and vents under the unit (especially under the front slide lip or back corners).
    2. If still lagging, add a secondary 1HP blower. Plug this second blower into a separate outlet on a completely different circuit so you don't trip the breaker. Ask the driver for an extra cord, or use the customer's if they provide one.

🚀 STEP 3: STAKES & CUSTOMER WATER INFO

  • Stake it Down (7 Total): Drive 1 stake at a 45-degree angle pointing away before inflation. Once fully inflated, drive the remaining corner stakes and the **2 outrigger stakes** at a 45-degree angle pointing away.
  • Safety Check: Make sure the extension cord is flat on the ground (no tripping hazards) and kept completely away from water puddles.
  • Water Hose Rules: Show the customer where the hose connection is. Let them know they can connect their hose there if they want to use it—we do not normally do it for them. Advise them to only open their spigot a tiny bit (maybe 5%) so it does not spray all over the place.

🛑 PICKUP & TAKEDOWN

👀 STEP 4: INSPECT, DRAIN & DEFLATE

  • Be Polite: Politely let the customer know you are there to pick up the inflatable.
  • Clear Belongings: Check inside thoroughly for any people or personal items. Leave customer belongings in a neat pile for them.
  • Leave Basketballs: Small hoop balls stay inside the unit. Do not remove them.
  • Drain the Pool First: If there is water in the slide area, step on the edge of the pool wall and let it drain completely out. The more water you get out, the lighter and easier the pickup will be.
  • Kill Power: Shut off the motor, remove the sleeve from the blower, and open every single zipper on all sides. Step on the unit to stomp out as much air as possible.
  • Stash the Cords & Stakes: Roll the extension cord up and place it directly in the center of the flat vinyl so it rolls up with the unit. Roll the motor cord onto the blower. Put all stakes into the dolly container right away so they don't get lost in the grass.

🌀 STEP 5: FOLD, ROLL, & DOLLY

  • Fold in Sections: Fold the unit into 2 sections. Fold one side inward past the middle line. Fold the other side inward past the middle line. This folding is done along the left and right sides of the entrance.
  • Position Straps: Place your tie straps underneath the inflatable on each side toward the front slide area.
  • Back to Front ONLY: ALWAYS roll from the back of the slide up toward the front where the slide/pool is. Roll it as tight as humanly possible, then tie it down secure with the straps.
  • Load Up: Prop your dolly up right next to the roll. Go to the opposite side, lift the roll up onto the dolly deck, and pivot it back. Stack the motor on top and head to the truck or trailer.
